About the Role
As a Summer Student Dispatcher, you'll gain hands-on experience supporting daily operations by coordinating drivers, managing service schedules, and helping ensure everything runs smoothly. This is a fast-paced, team-oriented role where you'll build strong communication, organization and problem-solving skills. This is a great opportunity to learn how a dynamic operations team functions, develop real-world business skills and contribute to delivering reliable service.

Responsibilities
  • Schedule, coordinate, and dispatch drivers for deliveries, services, and pickups.
  • Communicate effectively with drivers and customers to address service needs, delays, or changes.
  • Monitor routes and ensure timely completion of daily assignments.
  • Handle customer inquiries with professionalism and urgency.
  • Maintain accurate service records and dispatch documentation.
  • Collaborate with operations and customer service teams to resolve issues quickly.
  • Support drivers with problem-solving and provide updates as needed.
  • Work with urgency to meet the demands of a high-paced environment.

Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled in a college or university program (business, logistics, operations, or related field is an asset).
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer focused approach.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Proficiency with dispatching or scheduling software is an asset.
  • Team player with a proactive, “type-A” personality.
  • Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.

Job Type: Seasonal (ends on September 4, 2026)
Work Location: Fully Onsite
Pay: $22 - $24 per hour
