About the Role
TSS is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented UKG Payroll Specialist to support our growing team. In this role, you will lead the implementation and optimization of our UKG payroll system across the U.S and Canada while ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing. You will also handle payroll administration and benefits administration, helping maintain compliance with payroll regulations and delivering smooth payroll experience for employees.

Responsibilities
- Lead and support the implementation and ongoing optimization of the UKG payroll system.
- Process payroll accurately and on time for employees across the U.S and Canada.
- Manage payroll administration including payroll records, reporting and compliance.
- Lead benefits administration for our brands in the U.S and Canada.
- Ensure compliance with payroll regulations and policies.
- Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Respond to employee enquiries.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of payroll experience managing payroll independently as a stand-alone practitioner or in a payroll supervisory/management role.
- Post secondary education in accounting or finance is preferred
- Hands-on experience with both Canadian and USA payroll.
- UKG Payroll experience is a must have (preference for payroll system implementations experience).
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now (WFN) and ADP Run is considered an asset.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and personalities.
- High attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to travel within Canada and the U.S as required.
